While our gates are temporarily closed due to the ongoing threat of avian flu, our animals still need the same daily care, food, enrichment, and veterinary support they always do. As one of the UK’s original bird of prey centres and a working wildlife foundation, our running costs don’t stop – even when visitors can’t come through the door.
To help us cover essential costs during this difficult period, we’re launching a special Fundraising Raffle – and we’d love your support.
Every ticket you buy helps us continue to care for our birds of prey, huskies, meerkats, alpacas and all the other residents who call Eagle Heights home.
How the Fundraising Raffle Works
- Ticket price: £2.50 per entry
- Who can enter: Entrants must be 18 years or older
- Prize draw date:
- Draw takes place on 1st December 2025
- Winner contacted by 2nd December 2025
- How winners are notified: We’ll announce the winners publicly and also contact them directly
- Prize format: All prizes are given as vouchers, redeemable via our website:

- Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue
- Legal bit: This competition is licensed under the Gambling Act 2005 as a Small Society Lottery

The Prizes
We’ve chosen prizes that really showcase what makes Eagle Heights special – our experiences, our animals, and the chance to visit us again when we reopen.
1st Prize – Choice of Experience for 2
Our first prize winner will receive a voucher for a choice of experience for two people.
This could include one of our popular animal experiences (subject to availability and usual age restrictions) – for example:
- Getting up close with our incredible birds of prey
- Spending time with our cheeky meerkats
- Meeting our beautiful huskies or alpacas
Please note:
- Experiences are subject to our usual minimum age and participation restrictions
- All under 18s must be accompanied by a participating adult
It’s a fantastic way to create memories while supporting the animals you’ll be meeting.
2nd Prize – Annual Passes for 2
Our second prize winner will receive annual passes for two people, giving a whole year of visits to Eagle Heights once we’re fully open again.
You’ll be able to:
- Visit your favourite animals again and again
- Enjoy our flying demonstrations throughout the year
- See the seasons change across our beautiful site in the North Downs
It’s the perfect prize for regular visitors, local families, or anyone who loves wildlife and wants to support conservation.
3rd Prize – Choice of Animal Adoption
Our third prize winner will receive a choice of animal adoption, allowing you to support one of our residents in a very special way.
An adoption typically includes:
- An adoption certificate
- A photo of your chosen animal
- Your name displayed on our adoption board
- Plus the knowledge that you’re directly helping with their care
It’s a lovely prize for animal lovers and makes a brilliant gift too.
Why Your Support Matters
Even while we’re closed to the public, our daily costs remain high. On average, it costs us around £1,000 per day to care for our animals – from food and bedding to heating, enrichment, and veterinary care.
By buying raffle tickets, you are:
- Helping us feed and care for our birds of prey, huskies, meerkats, alpacas and other animals
- Supporting our conservation and education work
- Helping ensure Eagle Heights can continue to welcome visitors, school groups and families in the future
