After two months away, we’re thrilled to announce that Eagle Heights will reopen to the public on Saturday 10 January 2026. And we couldn’t have timed it better – we’re celebrating our 30th anniversary year.
It’s been a long two months. Our sanctuary has felt quieter than ever. But today, we’re excited to welcome you back home.
What’s Changed?
Due to national avian influenza restrictions, our birds remain housed under government requirements, which means bird flying displays are temporarily unavailable. We know this is a key part of the Eagle Heights experience, and we’re working closely with government guidance to resume these as soon as it’s safe to do so.
But here’s the good news: we’re offering 50% off all entry tickets in recognition of this temporary change. We want to make sure visiting Eagle Heights remains accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
What You Can Still Enjoy
Even with these temporary restrictions, there’s still plenty of magic waiting for you:

Premium experiences are still available, including our Meerkat Experience, Husky Hike, Husky Kennel Tour, Alpaca Trek, and Afternoon Tea.
Opening Hours
From Saturday 10 January, we’ll be open:
📅 Friday, Saturday, Sunday
🕐 11am – 4pm
This schedule continues until 1 April 2026, when we’ll return to full opening hours.
Tickets are available online and on the day.
