Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter

1.1. The promoter of this raffle is Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation, Lullingstone Lane, Eynsford, Kent, DA4 0JB (“Eagle Heights”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
1.2. This raffle is being run to raise funds to support the ongoing care, welfare, and associated costs of the animals at Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation during a period of closure due to the threat of avian flu.

2. Legal Compliance

2.1. This raffle is operated as a Small Society Lottery and is licensed under the Gambling Act 2005.
2.2. The raffle is open to residents of Great Britain only. It is not available to residents of Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, or any other jurisdiction where participation would be unlawful.

3. Eligibility

3.1. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of purchasing a ticket.
3.2. It is an offence for anyone under the age of 16 to participate in a lottery in Great Britain. We operate on an 18+ basis and reserve the right to request proof of age.
3.3. By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that you are 18 years or older and eligible to enter.
3.4. Employees, trustees, and volunteers of Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation may enter the raffle unless otherwise specified by internal policy.
3.5. We reserve the right to refuse an entry or to disqualify any entrant if we reasonably believe they have breached these Terms and Conditions or acted in a way that is unlawful or unfair to other participants.

4. Raffle Period and Draw

4.1. Tickets will be on sale for a period determined and advertised by Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation.
4.2. The prize draw will take place on 1st December 2025.
4.3. The winner announcement will be made on 2nd December 2025 via Eagle Heights’ official channels.
4.4. The draw will be conducted fairly and at random using an appropriate random selection method.

5. How to Enter

5.1. Tickets cost £2.50 per entry.
5.2. Tickets may be purchased online via the designated raffle page (details provided on our website and promotional materials).
5.3. No maximum number of tickets per person is set unless otherwise stated; however, we reserve the right to limit entries if required for operational or regulatory reasons.
5.4. Entries are only valid once full payment has been successfully received and processed.
5.5. We accept no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, corrupted, or cannot be entered due to technical or payment-related issues.

6. Prizes

6.1. The prizes available are as follows:

• 1st Prize: Choice of experience for 2
• 2nd Prize: Annual passes for 2
• 3rd Prize: Choice of animal adoption

6.2. All prizes will be issued in the form of vouchers, which must be redeemed via our website https://jovial-booth.77-68-12-31.plesk.page/.
6.3. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. It is the winner’s responsibility to redeem their voucher within this period.
6.4. Experiences are subject to availability, standard booking terms, and the usual minimum age and participation restrictions in place for each experience at the time of booking.
6.5. Under 18s taking part in an experience must be accompanied by a participating adult, in line with our standard experience terms.
6.6. Animal adoptions will follow the standard Eagle Heights adoption package, which may include (but is not limited to) an adoption certificate, photograph, and name displayed on an adoption board. Specific inclusions may be subject to change.
6.7. Annual passes are valid for two named individuals and are subject to the usual terms of entry and opening times of Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation.
6.8. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered.
6.9. We reserve the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.

7. Winner Selection and Notification

7.1. Winners will be drawn at random from all eligible entries received by the closing time.
7.2. We will announce winners on 2nd December 2025 on our official channels and will also contact winners directly using the contact details provided at the time of entry.
7.3. If a winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within a reasonable timeframe (e.g. 28 days), or is found to be ineligible, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.
7.4. We may ask winners to provide proof of age and identity before issuing a prize.

8. Use of Data and Publicity

8.1. Personal data provided when entering the raffle will be used solely for the purposes of administering the raffle, contacting winners, and fulfilling prizes, and will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Policy.
8.2. By entering, winners agree that Eagle Heights may use their first name, initial of surname, and (where appropriate) town/county in winner announcements and reasonable publicity, unless they expressly request anonymity.
8.3. Any promotional photographs or media involving winners may be used by Eagle Heights for marketing and fundraising purposes, subject to consent where required.

9. Responsible Gambling

9.1. Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation is committed to promoting responsible gambling.
9.2. If you feel you may have a problem with gambling, we encourage you to seek help from organisations such as BeGambleAware (www.begambleaware.org) or by calling the National Gambling Helpline.
9.3. We reserve the right to limit or refuse entries from individuals where we have reason to believe participation may not be responsible.

10. Liability

10.1. Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation accepts no responsibility for:

• Any loss, damage, delay, or failure in the receipt of entries;
• Any technical, hardware, software, or payment system failures of any kind;
• Any loss or damage suffered by any entrant or winner arising from their participation in the raffle or acceptance of any prize, except where caused by our negligence or fraud.
  10.2. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Changes, Suspension, or Cancellation

11.1. We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions if necessary to comply with legal, regulatory, or operational requirements, provided that any changes do not materially disadvantage entrants.
11.2. In the event of circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including, but not limited to, pandemic-related restrictions, regulatory changes, or technical failures), we may suspend, postpone, or cancel the raffle.
11.3. If the raffle is cancelled, we will endeavour to refund ticket purchases where reasonably practicable, subject to any irrecoverable costs already incurred in running the raffle.

12. Complaints and Queries

12.1. Any complaints or queries about the raffle should be made in writing to:

12.2. We will aim to resolve complaints in a fair, transparent, and timely manner.

13. Governing Law

13.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
13.2. Any disputes arising in connection with the raffle shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
