Flying and Handling Eagles
The centrepiece of your experience is the opportunity to fly and handle our magnificent eagles. You’ll learn the ancient art of falconry, understanding the subtle signals and techniques that allow these wild spirits to work in partnership with humans. Feel the rush of wind as an eagle launches from your gloved hand, watch in wonder as it circles overhead, and experience the thrill as it returns to you—talons outstretched, wings spread wide.
Our eagles are truly spectacular. You might meet Skye, our beautiful female white tailed sea eagle, who’s captured the hearts of countless visitors, or work with one of our other majestic residents. Each bird has its own personality, quirks, and story, and our handlers will share these tales as you get to know your feathered companions.

The Practical Details
When: The Eagle Experience runs at 1pm on selected days throughout the year. Because this is such a popular experience, we recommend booking well in advance to secure your preferred date.
Who Can Participate: This experience is designed for adults aged 18 and over. The power and size of eagles means participants need the strength and maturity to handle these magnificent birds safely.

Booking: All experiences must be booked in advance through our booking system. We cannot accommodate on-site bookings, so please plan ahead. You can book directly, or purchase a voucher valid for 12 months, giving you plenty of flexibility to choose the perfect date.

Planning Your Visit
Eagle Heights is located in the beautiful Kent countryside at Lullingstone Lane, Eynsford, DA4 0JB. We’re just five minutes from the Swanley Interchange, making us easily accessible by car. If you’re travelling by public transport, Eynsford train station is a 1.4-mile walk away (though be warned, there’s a steep hill!). Local taxi services are available with advance booking.
We’re open daily from 10:30am to 5pm between April and September, and Friday to Sunday from 11am to 4pm between October and March. Your Eagle Experience takes place at 1pm, but here’s the brilliant part—complimentary general admission is included with all our experiences.
This means you can arrive any time from when we open and stay until closing if you wish. You’re not restricted to just your experience time! We recommend making a full day of it: arrive early to explore our grounds, meet our other residents—including over 30 rescued huskies, meerkats, alpacas, and more than 20 species of birds of prey—grab lunch at our tearoom, enjoy your Eagle Experience at 1pm, and then continue exploring afterwards.
